Universal Pictures and Illumination are delighted to announce that popular children’s author and popstar Tom Fletcher and parenting podcast sensation Giovanna Fletcher will be joining the flock to voice cameos for Illumination’s new original action-comedy Migration.
Tom and Giovanna will voice a pair of ducks, Joe and Ellie, who inspire Migration’s Mallard family to go on their own family trip after visiting the Mallards’ New England pond on their way to Jamaica. Tom and Giovanna’s voices will feature in the UK theatrical version of Migration, which will be flying into cinemas February 2nd 2024.
Speaking on their roles in the film, Giovanna said “I’m a huge fan of Illumination films and it was really a delight to be asked to take on the role of Ellie. The film’s message of experiencing the natural world and stepping outside your comfort zone to try something new is something we try and bring into our family life as well.”
Tom added, “It will be so exciting for the kids to hear us in an Illumination film; this is such a fun movie to be part of showcasing the importance of strong family bonds.”
Illumination’s Migration is in cinemas Friday 2nd February.
