First Track Released From The Batman OST

Hot on the heels of the official runtime of Matt Reeves The Batman being announced at 2 hours and 55 minutes yesterday, which itself followed the release of a new poster which you can see below, Matt Reeves himself tweeted the link for the first track from The Batman Soundtrack entitled ‘The Water Tower’ from composer Michael Giacchino.

The music is contained in the already released main trailer for The Batman which you also watch right here and is heady orchestral mix that really builds the atmosphere for The Batman, with a deep sense of foreboding of the caped crusader delivering his vengeance on those who threaten the peace in Gotham. The music also offers a feel and throwback to animated series which has the series fan base rejoicing for the most part.

It feels like the marketing machine is starting to ramp up the Batman fever, much like it was when The Dark Knight was on the horizon. The Batman also topped the Screen One Top 10 films to watch in 2022 as well (You can read that HERE ). As the evidence begins to lead closer to home and the scale of the perpetrator’s plans becomes clear, Batman must forge new relationships, unmask the culprit, and bring justice to the abuse of power and corruption that has long plagued Gotham City
