Warner Bros. has officially unveiled the first poster and trailer for The Accountant 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2016 action-thriller starring Ben Affleck as the brilliant yet deadly Christian Wolff. Picking up where the original left off, the sequel promises a deeper dive into Wolff’s high-stakes world of forensic accounting, conspiracy, and brutal combat.
In The Accountant 2, Christian Wolff (Affleck) finds himself drawn into a new and dangerous puzzle when an old acquaintance is murdered, leaving behind a cryptic message: “Find the accountant.” Determined to solve the case, Wolff quickly realizes that this time, his skills with numbers won’t be enough—he needs backup.
Enter Brax (Jon Bernthal), Wolff’s estranged but equally formidable brother. The two must navigate a web of deception and lethal adversaries as they join forces with Marybeth Medina (Cynthia Addai-Robinson), now a Deputy Director of the U.S. Treasury. As they uncover a massive conspiracy, they become prime targets for a ruthless network of killers determined to bury their secrets—permanently.
With the first film gaining a cult following over the years, expectations are high for this sequel to crunch the numbers and deliver another knockout hit.
