This time America’s most dedicated dad, Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase), is determined to stay at home to create “the most fun-filled old fashioned family Christmas ever” — but life has a particular way of throwing wet logs on the Griswold family fire. Make merry with Chase, Beverly D’Angelo, Randy Quaid and an ensemble of comedy favorites (look for Emmy and Golden Globe-winner Julia Louis-Dreyfus from TV’s Seinfeld in a supporting role). Possibly the best of the Vacation series Chevy Chase as the ever over optimistic Clark Griswald not only has to deal with in-laws, cousin Eddie, hiding presents, rodents in the Christmas tree and warring family pets, but also annoying neighbours, work bonuses and lighting up the house with Christmas lights. it all adds up to some serious seasonal carnage that is downright hilarious. This is the film that marks Christmas being near. So grab some eggnog sit back and try not to electricute the cat and enjoy National Lampoons Christmas Vacation.
