After a tragic accident, six friends reunite for a caving expedition. Enjoy claustrophobic situations, everything being turned on its head, extreme violence, and a decent level of personal drama which at times is jsut as horrific as the violence that happens in the caves. One of Neil Marshall’s finest films and a modern classic, The Descent is a lesson in terror of the mind and body. It’s one that has been forgotten for the most part of the years, but it is far more effective in scaring the living daylights out of you than most modern productions.
